In May 2005, starting from Toulouse, we set out on a roadtrip of SW France and then on northward to Paris. These photos are from the early part of the holiday, as we visited towns, many of them with medieval roots, in the area where our American friends Roland and Kat were planning to live. Strangely this was close to the part of France where two close English friends, Polly and Roger, moved about a year later.
